60/40 city/highway driving

avg 7.4 L/100km or about 37-38mpg (these #'s come from my car, not my math)

ECON mode on highway only.

regular gas (Esso mostly)

2017 CVT Hatchback Sport Touring here.
I use 91 octane (CA) and I CANNOT get better than 25MPG in the normal Drive mode.
It drops to 20 MPG in Sport mode.

I have noticed that the Econ button will push me to 28 MPG.
I'll check the tire pressures this afternoon and hopefully it will need adjustments.

I seem to be in the same boat here. I've been running 93 octane as well since 91 is difficult to find around here. And unfortunately I can't use the infotainment system to easily view my MPG since I have the Sport, not Touring.

I've been running 89, and getting 33-34 AVG this is for driving in basic DFW, TX traffic. I get down all the way to 26-28 AVG when I'm in terrible traffic. and I've also gotten up to 35-36 AVG when I'm on the highway with no traffic.

Sport and ST are rated for 30/36 arent they? meaning do about 10-20% less depending on how hard you hit the gas and if you don't use econ.

I've had this car for about a month now and about 600 miles on it. Not even past the break in period yet. But, I've noticed that my MPG is rather poor and seemingly getting worse. I've seen people posting 30-40 and I'm sitting here with 24 and dropping.

This is mostly city driving as well since I only drive on the highway about once a week for 20 minutes.

Is everyone with those numbers using Econ all the time or what?
I'm in the same situation brother. Got a 17 Civic Hatchback sport & city driving is between 23-28 max

I have noticed with My sport hatch CVT I am getting an average of 28-30 MPG, city/ highway combination. I run Shell Premium. For those of us in the northern climate zone, winter blend gas doesn't do as well as summer blend for fuel mileage. With my the 2 Fieros I had over the past 16 years, I kept a log and looking back through the log you can see when winter blend started and when it ended.

I get 37.2 on like 50/50 local and fwy driving. Stop and go traffic I'm getting around 37.2 as well. I never hit anything under 37. Average for me for 1000+ miles right now is 37.7. Mines a 6MT and I always use Shell 91 octane gas

That's what I've gotten since June. I drive with the cruise on 80 to 85 depending on how late in running. I have a 78 mile drive to work one way. About 700iles a week. Wind and cold weather make the biggest difference in milage.

Do you guys/gals calculate the mpg by hand or just rely on the trip computer. With hand calculation for the previous 2 tanks, the results were 38.1 and 37.5 mpg. However the trip computer was reading 42.3 and 41.4 respectively. It seems that there is almost 10% lower with hand calculations. Any of you experienced the same as I do. I drive 80/20 hwy/city for 160 miles daily commute. The weird thing is that my mileage range had been increased every tank. Started out with a range of ~420 to 470 now. I fill between 7.5 gal to 8.9 gal each tank and I'm wondering how much more I can drive before the light comes on.

If I reset the computer and tool around in 1st and 2nd gear for a while, I seem to still get 25 mpg. Could be something wrong, I've never had a tank under 30 mpg, and 34-38 is typical.

I find it interesting that I get better mileage when there's highway traffic and I'm going 50-55, vs screaming along with no traffic at 75-80.

Ive noticed that the mpg is ALWAYS off when you actually calculate it. I use and app it may have been right once.

I'm pretty sure the car calculated value does not factor in consumption while the car is idling. The consumption gauge goes to zero when you're not moving. This will make the car value better than what you calculate, and the difference will increase the more time you spend idling.
