Our friends at Hondata just dynoed a 2017 Honda Civic EX-T with the 1.5L turbo and 6-speed manual transmission. The results were both surprising and promising, and suggests that Honda may have significantly underrated the L15B7 engine in this vehicle.
On 87 octane fuel it made 190-horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque, well above the rated 174-horsepower and 167 lb-ft of torque factory rating.
Check out Hondata's video and dyno results in the forum.

Driving.ca has posted one of the first 2017 Civic Hatchback reviews, which they think just might be the most fun compact hatch in the segment. It's one of the best-handling cars in a very competitive segment, is well-equipped and comfortable, and should appeal to the buyer who needs a hatch's versatility and finds its premium sportiness appealing.
